CO: Following you for some time now, I've witnessed your aesthetic adapt and form to your current offering. Although consistent, your work seems to always be changing through color, medium, and overall approach. What drove you to utilize this specific artwork for your mirror?

MA: Over the years, my practice has moved through drawing, painting, sculpture and design--but the purpose has stayed the same: to reflect the inner world. I chose this artwork for the mirror because it feels like a portal-one that doesn't just reflect your image but invites you to see yourself differently. "Twin Flames" is a theme I often explore. It's not just a romantic spiritual relationship-it's about any connection that catalyzes your growth. These relationships reveal your shadows so you're pushed to evolve. So this mirror is a daily reminder to turn inward and tend to your own transformation.

CO: With countless accomplishments and an evolving artistic presence, the world views you as a successful artist. How do you view yourself when you look into a mirror?

MA: I see someone who's still becoming. I've been blessed with milestones and some kind of recognition, but what I see most is a creative constantly searching for truth, for connection, for meaning I carry a huge sense of pride when it comes to my work-but also humility and vulnerability. The reflection of myself isn't really about how far I've come, but how much further I still want to go.

CO: You've been fortunate to mold your own world with special offerings for others to enjoy. From Prints to Apparel to so many other special objects, what excites you about this release?

MA: I love creating objects that can live with people. Things that are tasteful, but also functional and spiritual. This release merges art and ritual. Mirrors are symbols and they hold energy. Knowing that this piece might become part of someone's daily space, their altar, their home -it makes the entire process feel more intentional.

CO: I'm sure you get approached all the time with projects and ideas from outside parties. What made you confident in your decision to work with Cut Once Studio ?

MA: I've learned to move with intuition. The way Cut Once Studio approached me felt aligned-there was respect, patience and an understanding of what I want to give to my audience. They weren't trying to change me or commercialize the work but instead elevate it. It felt more like a collaboration than a transaction, and I think that's when the best work happens-when both sides are bringing good energy to the table.
